The 4131 Series Automatic Door Bottom is designed to prevent light, sound, and drafts from entering a room. It features a high-quality mechanism for smooth action when the seal is lowered. Available with different seal options (Nylon Brush, PemkoPrene, Sponge EPDM, and Sponge Silicone), and can be surface mounted or semi-mortised. Comes with installation instructions, end plates, and screws.
Features Non-Handed, Surface or Semi-Mortise Smoother action positive seal mechanism: Aluminum case encloses a movable drop-bar seal actuated by a jamb-contacting plunger during door closure, providing an effective seal Most models available with nylon brush (NB) seals. Nylon filaments conform extremely well to irregular surfaces such as carpet, stone and grout lines Some models can be mounted to either wood or hollow metal doors End plates are provided for all mounting applications Fills gaps up to 3/4"; Available in any size ranging from 18" to 48" Lead line available upon request; consult Customer Service for options on profiles Drop-bar seal actuation mechanism (all models) ensures hinge-side actuation, preventing seal skidding and door hang up during closure Provided at NET length Can be trimmed down by as much as 2" in the field (stock lengths only).
