PEMKO 412 Series Automatic Door Bottom 36" Mill Finish Aluminum from DWS in Newark, CA.
The handed 412 Series Surface Mounted Automatic Door Bottom is designed to reduce light, sound, smoke, and fire when the door is closed. It features a rubber seal and is available with Nylon Brush, Sponge EPDM, Silicone, or PemkoPrene inserts. The casing comes in various finishes for aesthetic purposes. The door bottom is custom cut to length and comes with installation instructions and screws.
Features Handed and disassembly of the mechanism is required to reverse the hand Surface Mounted Seals up to a 3/4" gap under the door Recommended gap is 1/2" Smoother action positive seal mechanism: Aluminum case encloses a movable drop-bar seal actuated by a jamb-contacting plunger during door closure, providing an effective seal Most models available with nylon brush (NB) seals. Nylon filaments conform extremely well to irregular surfaces such as carpet, stone and grout lines End plates are provided for all mounting applications Drop-bar seal actuation mechanism (all models) ensures hinge-side actuation, preventing seal skidding and door hang up during closure Provided at NET length Can be trimmed down by as much as 2" in the field (stock lengths only).
